The architectural concept is defined by strong horizontal volumes and clean, orthogonal lines. The house is composed as a sequence of layered planes that follow the terrain and frame outdoor spaces. Light, textured plaster facades dominate the exterior, contrasted by darker recessed elements, aluminum joinery and extensive glazing. Flat roofs with deep overhangs provide shade and emphasize the horizontal character of the building.

This family house is located in a small village on the north-western coast of Istria, directly by the sea. The building is set within a natural coastal landscape and carefully positioned to maximize views while maintaining privacy. The total gross area of the house is 400 m², distributed over three levels: basement, ground floor and first floor.
The ground floor opens fully towards the sea through large sliding glass walls, connecting interior living spaces with covered terraces. A central outdoor area with a swimming pool is integrated into the volume of the house, creating a sheltered and intimate exterior zone. The basement level is partially embedded in the terrain and accommodates auxiliary and service spaces, while maintaining direct access to the garden.
The first floor is conceived as a private zone, with bedrooms opening onto terraces and framed sea views. Glass balustrades and recessed loggias ensure unobstructed sightlines and a light architectural expression.
