La Villa Residence
It began in 2018, beneath the Church of St. Euphemia. The process took years, slower than expected, yet exactly as it needed to unfold.

La Villa Residence developed gradually, shaped over time through decisions, adjustments and care. As a family-led project, it grew with us, without haste and without compromises that would alter what we set out to create.
We were not simply building a property, but a space to be experienced differently. A place where silence has a presence, and every detail a purpose. Each element, from architecture to materials and light, was chosen personally.
Not to impress, but to endure.
The project expresses a sophisticated contemporary interior style that combines minimalism with warmth and refined luxury. The design language is characterized by clean architectural lines, integrated detailing, and a carefully balanced palette of dark and neutral tones that create an intimate and elegant atmosphere throughout the space.
A defining feature of the interior is the extensive use of dark wood finishes, stained oak veneer or textured timber paneling, which brings depth, richness, and a strong architectural identity to the project. Custom-built cabinetry and wall cladding are seamlessly integrated into the design, concealing storage while framing focal elements such as fireplaces and media walls. The use of slim metal accents and concealed lighting enhances the contemporary aesthetic while maintaining visual simplicity.
Natural materials play a central role in the composition. Stone and marble surfaces are introduced around the fireplace and architectural details, adding texture and subtle contrast against the darker wood finishes. Light oak flooring softens the overall atmosphere and creates a harmonious balance between warm and dark materials.
The furniture selection follows a sculptural and soft contemporary approach, with rounded lounge chairs, upholstered bed frames, and minimalist side tables contributing to the calm and luxurious character of the space. Upholstery in muted beige and taupe fabrics reinforces the warm neutral palette while introducing tactile comfort.
The project also highlights strong architectural elements, including exposed ceiling beams, double-height spatial volumes, and glass balustrades, which add openness and visual sophistication to the interior. Together, the combination of natural wood, stone, soft textiles, warm lighting, and bespoke detailing results in a timeless contemporary design that feels both luxurious and inviting.
