Arrival is defined by a gently curved vehicular access ramp that leads to a spacious forecourt, gradually revealing the house and reinforcing its horizontal character. The building is conceived as an elongated, single-volume composition, anchored to the terrain and oriented toward the most favourable vistas.

With a total gross floor area of 400 m², the house is carefully positioned on landscaped, built-up plateaus that negotiate the natural slope and maximize long, open views toward the surrounding countryside.
The architectural expression is calm and contemporary, combining clean lines with a warm, natural material palette. Light-toned plastered surfaces are paired with exposed local stone walls, timber cladding, vertical wooden screens, and dark metal details. Ribbed wooden ceilings, integrated fireplaces, and carefully proportioned openings emphasize tactility and craftsmanship while enhancing the sense of comfort and refinement.
The surrounding landscape is designed as an integral extension of the architecture. Terraced gardens, stone retaining walls, gravel paths, and Mediterranean planting follow the topography and visually embed the house into the hillside. The result is a refined family residence that fully exploits its elevated position, offering privacy, strong spatial quality, and expansive views, while remaining deeply connected to its natural Istrian setting.
