The design is characterized by strong horizontal lines and a distinctive rectangular frame that wraps the façade, creating deep loggias and shaded outdoor zones. The exterior combines smooth, light-toned plaster with natural Istrian stone cladding, establishing a balanced contrast between modern minimalism and regional tradition.
The total gross floor area of 240 m² is distributed across two levels – ground floor and first floor – forming a compact yet expressive volume.
Large window openings are recessed within the stone surfaces, enhancing depth and shadow while allowing generous daylight and visual connection to the surrounding landscape.
The ground floor opens towards the garden through covered terraces, seamlessly extending the living spaces outdoors, while the upper floor features a continuous balcony/loggia that emphasizes the horizontal composition of the house. Neutral, warm colour tones dominate the facade, ensuring timeless elegance and a calm visual presence within the natural setting.
The landscaped plot is designed with restraint and clarity, featuring gravel surfaces, low Mediterranean planting and carefully placed greenery that complements the architecture without overpowering it. A pergola structure and covered parking are integrated into the overall composition, reinforcing the clean lines and functional logic of the design.
This house represents a thoughtful blend of contemporary architectural expression and Istrian material identity, offering a comfortable family home closely connected to both nature and the nearby coastline.
